The Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR) is Liberia’s apex human rights institution, established by an Act of the National Legislature to protect, promote, and advance the human rights of every person in Liberia.
Our work spans human rights monitoring, investigation of complaints, public awareness, policy advocacy, and engagement with international human rights mechanisms. We operate independently across all 15 counties, guided by the Paris Principles and Liberia’s international obligations.
We invite all Liberians and residents to partner with us in building a society where every person’s rights are respected, protected, and fulfilled.
